Plasma activation
To optimise adhesion we can use plasma activation. This is particularly suitable for activating various surfaces and materials, without changing their properties. By exposing a plastic surface to plasma, functional groups attach to the surface. This allows the material to be better moistened, thus improving the adhesion, bonding and printability.
Prefer engraving over printing? We also offer laser engraving. We can engrave plastic surfaces with a laser. The laser beam heats and melts the top layer of the material, after which serial numbers, QR codes or logos can be engraved. This way, it remains permanently visible and tangible on the material.
