Ultrasonic welding

Ultrasonic welding allows us to weld plastic objects together using high-frequency sound vibrations.

Ultrasonic welding

Reijnen Sealing has a lot of knowledge and experience in the field of ultrasonic welding of plastics. High-frequency sound vibrations make it possible to weld plastic objects together.

The frequencies used in ultrasonic welding are 20, 30, 35, 40 and 70 kHz. The higher the frequency, the smaller the dimensions of a product. This method is especially suitable for injection-moulded products, because it requires a welded seam construction (ERG). With this welding technique you take advantage of the very short processing times: often even shorter than one second.

Laser engraving and plasma activation

We further offer techniques such as laser engraving and plasma activation to various objects. Plasma activation is particularly suitable for activating various surfaces and materials, without changing their properties. This ensures better adhesion.

Plastic surfaces can be engraved with a laser as well. During laser engraving, the laser beam heats and melts the top layer of the material. This allows for a sleek design with a tactile and visible structure that does not fade.
