All the advantages and disadvantages of FIPFG technology are listed below:

• Accurate dimension and contour
• Suitable for extreme temperature fluctuations

Quality benefits:

• Chances of ‘leakage’ are much smaller thanks to customised sealing
• Quality and repeatability guaranteed through our procedures

Economic benefits: 
• No expensive investments for our clients
• No punching or other expensive developments
• Cost reduction through automation
• Flexibility of seal geometry
• Interesting in both serial and one-off price terms
• Durability/lifespan of the seal

Disadvantages:
• Location-bound: the products must be transported to Reijnen
• The seal adheres to the product, it may leave traces when removed
• “Loose” gaskets are difficult to supply (possible, but not desirable)
• The maximum working width is (X) 2400 mm x (Y) 1000 mm and (Z) 200 mm high
